In 1964, Ed and Margie Imo opened the very first Imo's Pizza in St. Louis, Missouri. With nothing more than a passion for great food and a determination to serve their community, they introduced a style of pizza unlike anything the city had ever tasted — thin, cracker-crust squares topped generously with Provel cheese, a uniquely St. Louis blend of provolone, Swiss, and white cheddar.
